Obtain a copy of the ISA Recognition Requirements 2013. You can download a copy here. This is a large document. Alison in the ISa offices will be happy to send one out to you if you request one. Go through this document carefully. Make sure you are maintaining high standards of coaching, your facilities and equipment are safe and up to standard, make sure you are maintaining ISA ratios and make sure you are adhering to Operating Requirements for each of the schemes you are running. Print and Read the Policies and Procedures manual. If you are missing any documentation such as safety statements, risk assessments, course programmes etc. this document will help you update or write new ones. Alternatively your Senior Instructor should be able to help you write these up for you.

Obtain a Centre Inspection Checklist. You can download one here. Go through the checklist or ask your Senior Instructor to go through the checklist. Make sure everything is in order for each of the schemes you are running.

Once you have completed the above, print your Centre Inspection Form. To do this you need to Login to the ISA website. Only Training Centre Managers or Centre Principals can view this form here. Having trouble printing? Export the file into Adobe and press print.
- Check that all the details are correct on your inspection form including contact details, instructors and committee details. If your committee needs amending contact Pamela membership@sailing.ie. All other details, phone numbers, instructors etc. can be amended online by your Training Centre Manager or Centre Principal. If you need help using the ISA online system you can download an Instruction manual here. Details on Training Centre insepction are covered in section 6.
- Once you have amended and checked everything print again ready for the inspector.
