Senior Instructor Training Courses ’24 / ’25 open for bookings
The first of this seasons programme of Senior Instructor training courses are now schedule and are open for bookings in the online shop. Further courses will be added in the coming weeks so remember to check in on the upcoming courses page of the website
The Senior Instructor is key to the smooth running of the training courses and they are always in high demand during the peak season. The demand for places on the 2024 courses was very high so early booking is advised to secure a place on your preferred course date.
All Senior Instructor courses are open to Small Boat Sailing Scheme (dinghy, catamaran, keelboat), Powerboat and Windsurfing instructors with the required Pre-Requisites .
Course 1
- November 1st – 3rd & 8th – 10th , Fri eve 18:00 – 21:30 and Sat & Sun 09:15 – 18:00 each weekend.

Pre-requisites
It is important to remind instructor candidates, for all levels, of the other qualification pre-requisites ... Pre-entry Assessment, Powerboating Certification, Emergency Care, Safeguarding and Garda Vetting all of these can be worked on over the winter ensuring that there are no delays in certifying candidates once their courses are completed.
