COUNTDOWN TO IRISH SAILING RACE OFFICIALS’ CONFERENCE
The stage is set for the biannual Irish Sailing Race Officials conference this coming Saturday amidst the very picturesque surrounds of Oranmore, Co. Galway.
Galway Bay Sailing Club will play host to the 2024 Race Officials and Management Conference which is now sold out. The agenda for the day is designed to be both varied and interesting with content that should be of interest to the 80 attendees.
International Juror and Umpire, Chris Lindsay will be amongst the many speakers lined up. Chris officiated at this years’ Olympic Games in Marseille and will give an overview of the revised racing rules of sailing due to come into force during January 2025.
A number of workshops and breakout sessions are also planned on specific topics that will give a more in-depth knowledge for attendees who may wish to avail of the opportunity.
We look forward to an engaging and informative day, which will be rounded off by a networking dinner on Saturday evening in Oranmore Village.
