Irish Sailing were thrilled to hear that Michael Tyrrell, a member of the Royal Irish Yacht Club, has been appointed as an International Race Officer by World Sailing this afternoon.
Michael has played a big part in RIYC sailing events over the years and was Race Officer for the recent ILCA National Championships held at the National Yacht Club. It is through his hard work and effort he has earned this honour. We send our congratulations to Michael who joins Bill O’Hara, Con Murphy and David Lovegrove in the International Race Official ranks.
