Training Season Review Regional Meetings
This year saw the successful return of our in person end of season training review briefings with an additional online session added for those who were unable to attend.
The 5 sessions saw over 60 representatives from 35 Clubs and Training Centres come together to share feedback and ideas from the season as well as identifying issues and areas to focus on for 2025.
Some of the main topics discusses included
- Development of activities outside of traditional summers courses to encourage more sailing
- Development of adult dinghy and keelboat sailing activity
- Implementation of a Club Training Officer role at Club Committee level
- Consistency of training assessment standards and focus on skills development
- Preparations for the 2025 season
