There are many different avenues one can take in our sport, whether that be cruising, yacht racing, olympic campaigns, coaching, inter-club racing or in this case PRO Sailing.
Pro Sailing would be defined as a sailor who is paid to race or has a financial interest in the sport. Professional sailors are expected to be able to: Identify areas for improvement, be aware of team expectations, integrate quickly and effectively within a team, and work consistently and very hard.
Given the nation that we are our stake in this side of the sport is still rather small, however the 44 circuit has written an article praising the Nation of Ireland, making their mark on the industry.
