Would you like the opportunity to represent you county at the Youth Match Racing Worlds this Summer?
The Irish Match Racing Association (IMRA) has published details regarding the 2025 Youth Match Racing World Championship taking place in Gdynia, Poland from 21 - 27 Jul 2025.
Each affiliated Country to World Sailing is invited to submit a team for consideration to compete.
In the absence of suitable selection events before the deadline, The Irish Match Racing Association intends to select skippers based on Match Racing and General Sailing Experience in line with NOR 4.3 for the event which states "Skipper selections will be based on the skipper’s match racing experience, then fleet racing experience, then age, then geographical distribution."

Eligibility Criteria:
All competitors (skipper & crew) must be under 23 years old on December 31, 2025 (born after Dec 31, 2002). Skippers must be Irish citizens. All competitors must be members of their Member National Authority (MNA) – i.e., Irish Sailing.
