LEINSTER SCHOOLS TEAM RACING


St. Andrew's College retained its title in the Leinster Inter-schools team racing championship held at Dun Laoghaire Harbour on March 7th. The event featured 12 competing schools, showcasing top youth sailing talent from across the province.

In the semi-finals, the Institute of Education faced Blackrock College and triumphed 1-0 to progress to the finals. St. Andrew's College dominated the final, finishing with a remarkable 1-2-3 result at the Royal Irish Yacht Club-hosted event.

The race officer for the event was Robbie Walker, and Richard Kidney served as assistant OOD. The umpires were Mike Huang, Oisin Cullen, and Tom Higgins. The event coordinator was MJ Geraghty from St. Andrews College.
