LAUNCH OF IRISH SAILING YOUTH NATIONALS

Dun Laoghaire to Host 2025 Irish Sailing Youth Nationals

The dates are set and the planning is well underway for the Irish Sailing Youth National Championships 2025.

Scheduled to be hosted by the Royal St George Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire from the 24th to the 27th of April inclusive, the event is set to attract close to 200 junior sailors from across the country, while competing in six different dinghy classes.

The Dun Laoghaire club has a wealth of experience in running high profile national and international events and working in tandem with the organising authority, Irish Sailing, it promises to be a fantastic regatta.

Additionally, the event is very grateful to Waterman Tecsar Engineering Alliance who have come on board as main sponsor for the event.

Eric Waterman, director of Waterman engineering stated,

We are delighted to be part of such an amazing event. Waterman Tecsar always strive to deliver a quality product, based on the principles of quality management & continuous improvement - running a high-profile regatta is no different and we understand how supporting such an event can help towards a similar goal being achieved for the upcoming junior sailors competing’’.

Event director Richard O Connor of the Royal St George YC said he was delighted to be working with such a fitting sponsor and also the many volunteers who give of their time to ensure that all aspects of managing such a significant number of competitors runs smoothly.
